Please, take your head out of your behind. This isn't just a parody of country rednecks. It's actually a quite sharp comment about everyday politics and news. And even though they're probably not "red" themselves (though they're from Tennessee) you can see that they actually like the types they're imitating. They're not just making fun of redstaters (they're making fun of Democrats, as well). So, it isn't fake at all.
