David Houston "The Day That Love Walked In"

This week I got myself a pretty good collection of David Houston albums...I think I nabbed 23 of them! It's a lot to pour through and it'll take me some time, that's for sure. Since I grew up listening to his music, it's nice to hear it again after so many years. Here's a 1972 #18 hit of his that's a good one!

Good tune Jay. I don't think I've ever heard it before. It seems that that when people think of David they remember "Almost Persuaded" and that's about it but he had a whole bunch of other great songs. Thanks for posting. :)

David's output on the Columbia label was the epitome of great country music with a smooth edge, produced by the ever-reliable Billy Sherrill during the late 60's/early 70's. This song is a prime example of that.
