Fun storyline. Crappy final boss though, really. IMO.

Squeak Squad is one of my favorite Kirby games of all time, and the most underrated Kirby game ever. I got 100% completion on it twice. Such a fun game.

I love how Kirby games always explain that Meta Knight and King DeDeDe were never bad guys in the first place and just trying to protect Dreamland, so they HAD to try to kill Kirby.

I beat squeak squad 100% within 4 hours. No lie. EASIEST. GAME. EVER.

@BowserwithaShotgun or one of Zero's minions. it has some similar abilities to maricle matter from kirby 64

Nintendo seems to put together the powers of fire, lightning, and ice a lot...I just don't know whether it came first in Pokemon or Kirby.

@jmario232 Haha I actually knew that (I have the game), but thanks! It was meant to be a joke in response to the Portal game. :)

No it wasn't. 100% completion unlocks a secret scene after the credits where Kirby gets the cake back. Daroach gives Kirby the cake as an appology for the trouble he caused and possibly as thanks for saving him from being controlled by Dark Nebula. This actually forshadows to Kirby Mass Attack in which Daroach and his minons are now good guys and help Kirby find treasure in that game.

the wiki says hes either a rogue form of dark matter or the one from kirbys dream land 2 hence the fact dedede sealed it in a chest and is similar to zero

@jmario232 So I trust the cake was not a lie this time? ;D
Dark Nebula is Zero's pathetic cousin

Well at least the plot of this game was better then in Dreamland 1 which was just about a fat greedy tyrant stealing food from Dreamland. Here the story starts with Kirby chasing the cake but he then ends up unintentionally fighting bandits and saving the universe from the ruler of the Underworld who was planning to suck Dreamland into a black hole. Kirby so deserved the cake in the end for his hard work.
