Big business was bailed out to prevent DEFLATION, which would have exposed how rotten, dishonest and corrupt the Federal Govt. actually is. It would REVEAL to the average person what many of us already clearly see. They will say or do ANYTHING to buy some more time. Time is up.

........problems of the US GOVT are so severe and of such a magnitude that we are on the verge of a Roman Style collapse. I haven't even touched upon the ILLEGAL Social Security and Medicare SCAM or the CRIMINAL health care bill that was recently passed. Unregulated businesses and banks couldn't BEGIN to create this magnitude of problems. NO - The big businesses were bailed out to pay off unions, who would have lost their contracts and pension funds.....

low interest rates cause bubbles and moral hazzards in the market. Additionally, Socialist policies created HUD, FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and a host of other GOVT programs that destroyed the real estate market in the US. The GOVT WANTS high real estate prices because they ILLEGALLY TAX it. The higher the value, the higher the taxation that will fund the DEPT of Education (which is also Unconstitutional). The problems of the US GOVT are so severe...........

@IamMaximilianKohler - My friend. This is a total LIE that the government DESPERATELY NEEDS YOU TO BELIEVE. You are assuming that the US Government and the FED didn't do enough. THEY are the CAUSE of the problems we will be facing. The crisis has barely started. The US Government has turned the free market on it's head over the past 80 years. @IamMaximilianKohler - ahhhh my friend. THIS IS A GREAT STATEMENT BY YOU...for it demonstrates that you have not thoroughly studied the founders or their studies. They IN NO WAY tried to predict the future. They studied the governments of the PAST 5000 Years and studied all of the misgivings of MAN. They wrote a document that would PROTECT US AGAINST THE FLAWS OF MAN....and still had the genious to leave room to amend it

@FreeTheNation Our government and it's foundation was instituted MANY years ago by people who did their best to predict the future, but eventually everything becomes extinct or requires big changes. A number of presidents have tried in the past to make some major changes we need but because of poor education, many people being stuck in old mindsets, and because we are governed by two COMPLETELY opposite parties that are in a constant tug of war, there are still SO MANY problems in this country.

@FreeTheNation Clearly most people agree that there are many problems with our government but solely requesting necessary assistance programs that help those most in need to be ended without suggesting any sort of alternatives seems extremely selfish and apathetic. Thankfully, the majority of people still seem to care about the suffering of other human beings.

@FreeTheNation That's a really generous and in my opinion extremely naive guess. I really don't think he or anyone else with his position has a better idea(or even cares or wants to AT ALL) to provide the necessary means of assistance to our fellow citizens other then through a government body who uses taxes as a means to most fairly gather resources to help those in need.

@FreeTheNation Well maybe you should suggest some better alternatives before you try to take down necessary programs that help people in need. All I've seen is pure lack of empathy and apparent extreme greed rather then a true desire to make things better while giving people more freedom.

The name calling is counterproductive. MrBankRuns is LAWFULLY permitted to REFUSE to help another person. My Guess is that he prefers to do it of HIS OWN FREE WILL. No government has the authority to use FORCE to STEAL money from one person and give it to another person. That is TYRANNY. Our government was instituted among men to PROTECT PRIVATE PROPERTY, LIFE and LIBERTY.
