Great speed footage. Nothing comes close to the sound of a steamer.

I Would chain that engine anyday if it came close to PA

That is a fog light they used in the early days in the foggy parts of the morning runs in California the head light was hard to seee and that one gave notice that a train was coming

Nice sharp, smooth video, I enjoyed the scenic locations and pacing the train east of Spokane.
Thanks for sharing it.

I plan to get some video of her on the return trip Octobe 19th, I won't be chasing but saw several places I would like to have in my video, do you have a favorite? I'm in Wilbur, so anywhere around Spokane through idaho is good for me.

I saw some nice spots to shoot in and around Sandpoint, ID. You probably won't have to deal with the Indepedence Day crowd and traffic jam like I did.

Nice shots. I was also between Spokane, and Bonners Ferry that day. Did you happen to see two guys in a black convertible with the top down? During your shot at Algoma, me and my friend were pacing 4449 on the highway trying to get ahead of it and the traffic!

I was busy catching up, and the 4449 showed up mere seconds after I got of the car, so I didn't notice you, unfortunately. Great to see that you participated in the chase, too!
