I can visualize why, but I can't really explain it. I think it is because of slowing down exhaust, faster exhaust helps pull the piston back up.

Ah, thank you. Interesting. I figured a brake booster would have something like that installed already., but then I've never really looked at a a 4AGE setup up close nor have I looked into the full design of a booster..

@bloodypandahachiroku Likely running a fuel cell; which replaces the gas tank. Those lines are fuel lines.
