  • @PLEASANTDesigns True. Women as an example, look for the guy who is tan, muscular, and a chiseled chin. While I do not fit that category I do not fit the exact opposite either, I strongly dislike women like that and don't even bother trying to be friends with them much less b/f-g/f. People should be more impressed with someones intangibles, emotions, and overall their soul. Not the fact that they are wearing 400 dollar shirts, and gay spray on tans.

  • He knew he wasn't supposed to sleep on his back and lay his head down. He knew it would cause death, and yet he chose to remove the pillow he Routinely would sit up on and sleep just so he could sleep like other people normally Sleep. A very sad Existance and demise Merrick suffered.

  • @CrashxoBandicoot I feel we shouldn't alienate anyone. Even those with 400 dollar shirts and gay spray-on tans. Everyone needs love.

  • the most depressing movie i have ever seen. david lynch is a genius

  • The music makes it even sadder. Although it makes me think of the great movie Platoon with Charlie Sheen since it's the same music.

  • I cry every single time I watch this, be it in or out of context wit the rest of the movie. David Lynch just knows how to make a powerful ending. I mean, just look at Fire Walk With Me! This will always be one of my all time favorites.

  • @PolakBear Yeah, totally, i hope i didn't make it seem like i was accusing him of Depression. He loved his life and was satisfied. Sleeping in a normal position just became another boundary he wanted to break down, another obstacle he wanted to overcome to prove he was a human like the rest of us. I meant that It was sad he felt The extent of his duality and existence was to prove he could mimic simple Routines an average person would do with ease. He was Beautiful and happy though.

  • @submissivelover nevertheless he loved life it's why he was such a beautiful person

  • Joseph is a distant cousin of mine. My grandpa gave my mother a family book and in the back it has a list of famous relatives. He's on it.

But anyways, I wish everyone knew his story.

Maybe people would be less shallow.

  • I have Asperger Syndrome, i feel his pain
