englishtamil. How does it not stick on your tawa? When I used a readymade mix from a packet the mixture was thick and it stuck on my tawa and any non-stick frying pans!

Temperature of tawa, oil coating on its surface and texture of the batter - these are three main requisites for a decent dosa.
Ready made mixes vary in consistency. So try to see which one works best for you (meaning, try to add/reduce water based on how it affects the result).
Try to have an even thin, layer of oil (before you roll the batter). And try to have the tawa in moderate heat. Do not go for big ones already, just try thick uthappams. Slowly increase the diameter.

Looks awesome.. I know tamil very well, but, I still can't understand what you are saying. Not very clear!

It's not "pure" Tamil, of course. I was switching between English and Tamil so that everyone can understand at least bits of it. May be that's why you couldn't understand much. ;)

Hey Man,
Speak in Hindi please. Do you know the national language of India ? What a shame you cannot speak Hindi Mr. Tamil !!!!!!!!!!!!
cmosajay 4 years ago
Sajay,
There's no such thing called a "national language" in India. We just have 20 odd official languages and Hindi is one of them - one with the second shortest history. Tamil on the other hand is one of the very few classical languages of the world. And there's no shame in speaking my mother tongue. So get your facts straight.
PS. I'm not a chauvinist, but this is how I talk to chauvinists like you.
