@Crispers321 3 or 4 years later they were teammates!!

Love those air horns, low glass and no helmets Great times.
-
Weren't cashman and park teammates after this fight?
-
I love the way the Bruins surrounded their future teammate. Must have been some sort of initiation.

Did you see when Nevin went to the boards how Awery did not run him . That's the respect that was given back then when we played in the 70's. Today's player would have run him hard and of course hit him very high., Because everyone has a helmet and visor on.
These guys just don't get it today.

Park was landing solid rights b4 espo moved in to help, Park was very good with his dukes

I miss the low glass and the air horns from MSG.

@ekimfloom Yes. Park was a great player, but was stuck between Orr early and Potvin/Robinson later on, with a pair of knees not much better than Orr's. The retro-stats weasels have found that players +/- went up roughly 20 points when they were paired with Park.

park could could definetly NOT handle cashman, cashman was an animal and hand one of the hardest punches in hockey
Agreed. If it wasn't for a fellow named Orr, Park would have had multiple Norris Trophy's and probably a Cup or two...he played in 3 SCF but at the wrong time against the wrong teams on the wrong teams...

O'Reilly was not a goon. How many goons ever scored 93 points in a season? Look it up.
