The best way to know if the Apple iPad is right for you is to test-drive it at home. Hard to do that without buying it first. It's easier to simply watch this video of PCMag Editor-in-Chief Lance Ulanoff and his family trying it out in their home.

  • what is the game name.

  • what app does she use to draw?

  • @mjakes20 hey answer me right now when will i get your ipad, i will give you 2 euros with paydude

  • That was me when my dad brought home the iPad except 10 times more excited!

  • @deeboiz I have dozens of keys that I can press, right? Windows and Linux are blazing fast to use with key shortcuts and commands, and I'd imagine OS X to be the same if it has any (haven't tried)

But sure, enjoy your closed down product, I'll enjoy using any software I want from any source, something you can't do on a iPad. I'm sure it's great for reading news and browsing, but I type alot (programming, text, email, forum posting such as here right now) and I can't bother with a touchscreen.

  • @OOIEatte so you would rather use a 1-2" plastic trackpad than a 11" glass display? The iPad is a lot faster and more capable of doing things than a netbook.

  • @deeboiz False, false and touch screen isn't really desirable. I can do much more with a netbook or small 13" laptop in the same pricehood and have much more storage.

  • @OOIEatte Because a similar priced laptop isn't as portable, isn't as fast, Isn't touch screen

  • @nathen922 Yes there is PLENTY of difference. The iPhone has a small screen. The iPad has a massive HD screen for much better apps. That's like saying a kitchen sink and a swimming pool aren't any different.

  • @spGotable Right, because all the folks who read books, medical professional, aeronautical professionals, back woods hikers, musicians, and photo enthusiasts who have integrated iPad into their days lays in ways previously unthought are fools.
