Lip Syncing Tutorial - Anime Studio Pro HD

I got some requests to make a tutorial on the topic of lip syncing, and I finally had some time to do it.
Instruction are included as annotations so you are welcome to pause the video from time to time because it does goes a bit fast.

In fact, I thought that "adding skin" around the mouth, in order to preserve troubles mainly with the background of the mouth, was not necessary, but I found out that it is really needed when you use the "interpolate sub-layers" option. Thanks again!

HI, thanks for the tutorial. Im getting problems with the 4:07 part. I don't know why I can't do it.... I hold shift, and then I try to select the lips....then I try to click the outline (the part where the teeth are, the "same way as you show in your video" but I cant get part 4:19. When you deselect the points of her mouth-4:16 what do you do to restablish the red selection? I hope you can help me (and sorry if my comment isn't clear enough)

@LaraGabriela you gotta make sure you shift-click on the anchor points, not just the outline (using the 'create shape tool' as mentioned).

but an actual question is, can you explain in detail EXACTLY how you create that skin layer please? like all i got that works is creating the lines around the lips and then clicking Delete Shape. Thats all that works. I dont understand the rest... i would really appreciate maybe in a little YouTube Mail or something exactly how its done. I would be very thankful

ugh i cant do this! i have anime studio pro 8 and idk i just cant get the part at 4:07 where you start to do the whole Skin layer over the lips.... im a failure...
