Driving down I-65 south of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, with my Flip Camera recording the devastation left by the ice storm.

  • nature pruned them naturally. but they did cut back some where necessary. The reason they were there was part of the beautification process when building the parkways. Still we have some of the prettiest roads in the USA despite the storm.

  • I live in Murray, KY and the electricity was out at my house for over eight days. It was so freaky the first day of the storm because no one in Calloway County had electricity. And when I say no one I mean literally, NO ONE 100% out of power unless you have a generator. In Murray, there was one gas station open and that was it. It had a generator. But, it was quickly out of gas and food. That was the first time I noticed how much I loved electricity.

  • I hope that the state will cut back the trees growing so close to the major 4 lane roadways.
