Manchester UFO pilot's 'near miss'

A 'near miss' between a passenger plane and a UFO near Manchester Airport is included in a number of secret files released by the government.
The 'close encounter' was officially reported by the flight crew of a Boeing 737 back in January 1995.
The pilot and first officer described seeing a 'large grey object' fly so close past the plane it made them duck

@ism3c yes thats what i saw, they had short rays and were both glowing sounds like what i saw.

@IIZODIIAC Wow. I have seen an orange type of flare near my house going NE to West two times. They each went at the speed of a small personal airplane and at around 1,000 feet. It is a very bright orange light with rays and has no others colors. The first time I saw it, I lost it behind the trees on the house in front of mine. The second time, I was at a better angle and the light turn off slowly about 2 blocks from my house. My sister was sorta terrified for a while, for she watched it too.

@mantovannni wow well my friend, his brother, his mom and i were all eating pizzas at the local anchorage at night time about 5 years ago and we were looking at the dolphins spraying water near the rocks when 2 bright orange lights that looked like flares appeared above a hill and just sat there still for like 10 seconds and flew off to the left at exactly the same time as each other and disappeared, at the time i wasn't interested in UFOs at all and i was actually terrified for a week.

i saw a wedge shaped ufo flying over my back yard last year in the summer. and where i live im right on the flight path for planes landing at manchester airport. it was dark underneath with a few darker holes set out in a triangle, it had symbols down the sides with a few lights. it passed over at about 60-100 mph at an altitude of less than 100ft. it happened so fast i had no time to get my camera.
