Yes i agree that john french is a great rider, but the ducking does bug me sometimes. I was just at a horse show in cali that he was also at, and he sped up to an incredibly long distance to the first jump in the derby. He leaned way forward and dropped the horse, and the horse ran out, sending john into the jump.

I do not know the mare that Rumba is out of, but his sire is Carano. Sadly Carano passed a couple of years ago, but he did leave other sons. Chianto, a grand prix jumper, is one example.
