Lying to them about their 'sin' is reprehensible.

There is nothing wrong with being who you are.

If someone lies to someone who is already having difficulty handling their sexuality and causes that person to suicide, then the person who dumped all sin crap on them is a murderer.

Thank you for that information. I have a cousin who is gay and love her to death, she too has been plagued with the type of problems listed. Although, I must admit, I don't agree with the gay lifestyle, I do believe that everyone should be loved and respected. Peace.

What does the Koran have to do with this? You only believe the Bible to be true because it says it is. The Koran also states that it is the Word of God, as do Hindu texts. That is not a sound reason for believing something - especially if it goes against all common sense. We now have a higher moral code, since the Age of Enlightenment, that is based upon justice, equality, reciprocity and freedom - not upon blind superstition - and the world is a happier and fairer place as a result.

I think people should be respected for who they are, gay or straight. But I also think people should be respected for what they choose to believe in.

Good video. I don't think engaging in homosexuality is morally right but i do believe that homosexuals, transexuals, and intersexuals deserve to be treated like any other human. Um as far as semantics goes... i mean yeah it's not always as easy as " be who you are" because there are alot of bad people out there. however there is an apparent difference between two consenting individuals making a choice and a heinous crime. Regardless, if jesus can love a prostitue why can't christians love gays?
