Fire From Fungi

Ray Mears uses shavings of Tinder Fungus (Fomes fomentarius) to catch a spark from a flint/iron pyrite combination then adds King Alfred's Cake (Daldinia concentrica) to act as a charcoal brickette substitute and finally dried bracken to get the flames going.
