There are hundreds of thousands of Ex-Mormons all over the world. Leaving the LDS Church is not as difficult as it seems and the improvements in one's quality of life can be immediate.

  • My life did not improve until AFTER I found for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is truly Christ's Church - the members are not perfect (including myself). I know that Heavenly Father kept me alive until I had the opportunity to find His Son's Church. It's a sad thing when a member gets offended by a mistake that someone else makes and can't forgive them and then allows satan to guide them down the wrong path. A Good thing - I know individuals that have come back :)

"a sad thing when a member gets offended by a mistake that someone else makes and can't forgive them and then allows satan to guide them down the wrong path"

Yup, this is how apostasy was explained away when I was in the church too. But I grew up; I found out extremely few people who leave the church do so because of hurt feelings. If you think about it, there are way too many people leaving the church for hurt feelings to be the top reason. Mormons aren't that mean!

  • It has been discovered that the Latin based name Jesus Christ was given to him some 40 to 70 years AFTER the crucifixion. How and why would he tell Joseph Smith to name the church after this name?? Smith didn't know this information would be uncovered in our day. All religions are a lie. The TRUTH shall set you free. There's no god, heaven, hell, demons, devil or angels. Why does god insist on faith (assumption) when he says "to know the only true and living god" ???

  • I'm an ex mormon! I got kicked out after being begged in! /: hmm..well neway, still a Christian!

  • I've read the Book of Mormon and studied Mormon doctrine and according to the Bible I should not place my faith in a different gospel then the one preached in the Word of God...Gal 1:6-8. Muslims, JW, and LDS claim that God has sent a new message and that their way is exclusive, and if you pray about it then God will show their way is true. But Jesus showed us and the early church how to know truth by searching the Word of God. Jesus never taught to pray after a subjective feeling for truth....

  • @davidwjkirkpat Also remember that the Lord Jesus quoted from the same book of Isaiah that says the Lord alone is God and there is no other, none before Him, none after Him, He will not share His glory with another, and He Himself knows of no other God. Mormons who claim God had a father god or council of gods before him and lds will be gods too, this is in major conflict. i know you wish it was corrupted but its the same book that Jesus quoted from, verified by Dead Sea Scrolls

  • @davidwjkirkpat Here is my challenge to you...Show me the error I've made. Joseph Smith had 11 wives that he claimed God told him to take as his own wives even though they were already wives of other men in his church. Polygamy aside that is Adultery committed in the name of the lds god. Joseph Smith hid many of his wives from Emma thats a fact! and as I've already pointed out the Bible says Jesus is the creator of all things in heaven and earth.

  • @davidwjkirkpat I am not upset...I just realize that the jesus and spirit you claim to have is a picture perfect definition of Gal 1:6-8. LDS preaches a jesus that is not seen through a different interpretation of the Bible but in stark contradiction of who jesus is in the Bible. That same spirit you claim is of God also told Joseph Smith to take wives secretly hide them from his wife Emma and even to marry married women committing adultery with them.

  • @davidwjkirkpat The context of Matt 16 is the gates of Hell and spiritual warfare of demons. In Matt 22:30 Jesus flat out answers the question which wife will I be married to in heaven if I had more then one through death, divorce.....He says “At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven” There is no marriage!!! because there is no need for a companion as Adam needed Gen 2:18 or for procreation since there is no death.

  • @davidwjkirkpat The Bible says in Col 1:16-17 that Jesus created all things in heaven and earth all that is visible and invisible. He did not progress He has always been God. Isa 44:24 says the Lord alone created the heavens and the earth by Himself! Jesus is not equal with man, a brother to satan or a being with a beginning. He is the Mighty God, and the Everlasting Father as prophecied (Isa 9:6). Jesus forgave sins and was God manifest in the flesh 1tim3:16 before and without exaltation.

  • @davidwjkirkpat muslims have a different testimony and both of them contradict the Bible....Did Jesus follow His testimony or feelings or did He teach from scripture as the final and authoritative source? Can you show me in scripture where it says there is a 2nd chance after death? Seems to contradict most of scripture including Hebrews 9:27 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment

  • What is it with the music choice?

  • @kevinkiffe According to the LDS the best energy would be spent in baptizing dead people to save them even though it was not their conscious decision in life or perhaps contrary to their will for you to do so....but as long as you make the decision for them, then God will forgive them and let them in heaven....right?
