The L.A. County Coroner ruled Tila Tequila's fiancee, Casey Johnson, died from Diabetic Ketoacidosis, after slipping into a diabetic coma following a lack of insulin.

@CowieMooCowxo87 Your stupid. Obviously you don't have a fucking heart if your saying she's stupid. My bf's brother fell into a diabetic coma and almost died because of a diabetic Ketoacidosis last Friday. Honestly I hope you get diabetes and die because you sure are heartless.

@meyiyiyi55 I don't know....I'm pretty thin (52kg) at 168cm.  I don't try to be, just the way I am, fairly active I guess. But Casey was very thin, maybe she had that disorder where diabetics deliberately keep themselves ketoacidosic to keep their weight down. Congrats on you 35 years!! well done.

@meyiyiyi55 On the rare occasions that I forget my insulin (oops silly me) I know within a few hours because I feel so horrible! It's impossible not to know your blood sugar is high, how can anyone actually die from it and not realise they need insulin? I've had type 1 for 30 years and have no complications, perfectly healthy. Yes I get sick of it some days (who doesn't) but I don't get how you can die accidentally by not checking your bsl?? I check mine about 10 times a day.

this is a terrible thing,you would wonder why someone with so much money would not take insulin,have a insulin pump? i feel like crap when my sugar goes high.i would like to hear the reason for this.

Ketoacidosis occurs when you don't take insulin and your bloodsugar is way too high. At least that what they told me in the hospital when i was diagnosed.
