  • What a beautiful machine. This is a testament to the "Greatest Generation," and I hope she fly's again soon!

  • @my94holden As much as I love seeing these fly I have to disagree on this one (respectfully, of course!). This B-17 is irreplaceable. If it did crash or burn (liberty Belle, anyone?) it couldn't be replaced. A B-17 painted like the Memphis Belle, isnt the Memphis Belle. This one is just one of those that IMO, just needs to stand proudly on its landing gear, in a fine museum.

  • love to see her fly

  • A famous plane that stirs a lot fo emotions in old men like me. Will she fly again after the restoration? Something in the video left a big question mark for me and maybe others. Keep the faith, she is looking grand.

  • not the first, but she did have the right story and not a pilot who openly stated that any bomb dropped on germany should goto japan as he thought germany was ok. as happened on the first b17 to complete 25 missions.

  • Will she fly again?

  • Am I right in thinking that Memphis Belle was not the first B17 to complete 25 missions I thought that credit should go to Hells Angeles.

  • Thank you for the post
