  • It's really simple. Scripture says in 2 Corinthians 6 verse 14. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

There is a greater responsibility as a musician. When you are called by God you choose to answer. Remember many are called but few are choosen. A non Christian does not have the ABILITY to serve if he is not saved. How can he lead someone to salvation

  • @TheCelestialTeacup

most Christians are and should be accepting. the verses hes talking about doesnt say dont talk to or accept unbelievers

  • ya but having them there could change there heart and that u can do that because that could be keeping them from crist. "love the sinner, hate the sin"

The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. Psalms 18:2

  • @TheCelestialTeacup Being accepting and welcoming does not mean that Christians accept sinful behavior. Love the sinner. Hate the sin. There are many times where we are told to rebuke people for misdeeds.

I would welcome anyone into our worship service who is seeking to learn more about God. That doesn't mean I would invite them to teach a children's Sunday School class. The purpose of music in worship is to bring the congregation closer to God. How can non-Christians do that.

  • oh god :') i thought christians were supposed to be all accepting and welcoming?

  • @baltusd God cries for every person who chooses hell instead of heaven. He created hell for the devil and the fallen angels who stood in the presence of God and chose to leave. He created man to spend eternity with Him. Mankind is not supposed to be in hell. God loves you and wants you to be in heaven with him. Sin is inevitable, so He sent Jesus to die in your place. Now all you have to do is believe and live for Him. Please look into this, dont take eternity lightly. God loves you.

  • hey everybody! Jesus loves you! and everyone else! Be nice! :)

  • A worship leader should pray and seek God's direction before adding anyone to a band, no matter what the person's situation is.

  • Amen brother...The answer to the question is simply "No".

The scripture you read clearly states in context the answer.

  • @mmfootball13 If it's impossible not to sin, God created hell so he could GET BACk at you if you dont love him.

    GOD IS A CRYBABY
