  • Erm, well they kind of don't go too badly but I think it's generally agreed that they are very unforgiving when it comes to striking them. The recording on Church Bells of Kent of Bristol Major when they were still an 8 with the old 1891 Tenor (recast 1992) is a classic I think! Personally I think they were better as an 8 with the old tenor, but it's all subjective!
