Typhoon Ondoy: Family Drowns in San Mateo River, Disappears Under Bridge

Sept. 26, 2009 - A family desperately hanging on to their roof (bubong) was carried by a the strong floodwaters and disappears under the bridge during the devastation of Typhoon Ondoy in San Mateo, Rizal, Philippines.

@bratdude24 goodness gracious, ang taong walang kasalan ang parating kawawa, kung sino yung taong pulubi na dapat saklolohan ng diyos sila pa yun nadamay. Dati akong Kristyano pero sa ganyan bagay ang dyos na nawalang imposible at marunong magsalva at magmahal hinayaan sila? Kung ako gusto sila maligtas na wala sa aking kapangyarihan, bakit ang dyos sa Biblia napakatanyag nya na tawagin sya sa kalamidad eh wala sa pangyayaring naganap? Nagisip ako, nagtanong ako sa dyos ngunit wala syang sagot.

We have been given freewill by God. What happened during that day was just a reaction of what humans have done to our environment. We must learn from this tragic event.

Ang problema kasi satin naghahanap tayo ng pedeng sisihin sa mga ngyari. Why don't we just move on and learn from what happened. I don't think you have the right to say that, you know what you have said is very negative. Learn to respect others religious beliefs. I understand you have the right to say anything that you want. Pero sana naman wag makitid ang utak. Try to think before you comment. Di man lang ba sumagi sa isip mo na tao din ang may sala sa ngyari?
