  • I never got the dolls. I was OBSESSED with the books though.

I forgot her name, but my favorite was the one who lived during WW2 (Oddly enough, my favorite period in history.)

  • @acciobandaid yeah i hated it too. All my friends had one and all I had was a little sister :P lol, yeah, i kinda assumed that :D

  • @IntangibleTuesday Oh god, I meant "Me either, my parents didn't get me an American Girl doll. I hate the fact that they never got me an American Girl doll." Not. "I hated it and by it I mean the quote."

    Yeah.

  • @IntangibleTuesday Me either. I hated it :\

  • When I was younger I wanted an American Girl Doll so badly, but my parents wouldn't let me get one :( I love that HP quote!

  • @InEssenceDivided That's a perfect description of that quote. :)

And I'm not sure, I might've bought it in the states as I visit there a lot. :P

  • @lilymiststar Haha they were my first obsession. I was a baby history nerd. And those stores were pretty much the most exciting place on the planet for me when I was little.

I love that quote to pieces.

    Thanks, I'm so excited :D

That sounds so amazing, I was actually just talking about wanting to go to Louisiana today. Weird... Have an amazing time!

  • @spinninginncircles That's cool, I didn't know they had them in other countries. Yeah, same here..

Isn't it gorgeous? I like how it can also mean that the HP world, which exists in our heads, can also be real :)

  • I used to love American girls, but only one or two of the stories did I really get into. i never actually owned an American girl doll, but the stores are awesome to look around in.

Also I love that chapter and it's a great quote!

Have an amazing time seeing Lauren and everyone else, I'm sure it will wrock! :)

My day was nerdily awesome because i have arrived in New Orleans, and i love it here :)

  • I'm Canadian, and I had an American Girl doll. :) Pretty sure that I lost it, though.

And PS., that's one of my favourite quotes from the series as well! It's rather fantastic.
