if you record..yes ... quality is perfect. When You use skype the picture is not so perfect but better then another webcams.

It's name ''Janosik". I get it from my good friend who lives in Michigan. Jsnosik was a legend Polish hero who helps poor. I was high when I hosed his name.hehe. Dont ask my why ?

@domdom111111 I ain't no computer program wiz but I think that since the operating software is as old as the cam and there's been improvements made by Microsoft concerning the image quality of the web (Sylverlight for example) so the cam software is simply too old. Anyway, Microsoft will send me for free this cam H5D-00001 to replace my cam. I'll get a Cadillac to replace my Lada!

I have a really old Microsoft webcam VX1000 and it's often freezing or it decides to stop working all of a sudden. When it freezes or stop working, my computer is telling me that no cam is plugged in an usb port so I use the good ol solution.....Yeah, restart. And everytime it solves the freezing/cam not working issue I have...until it fucks up again. (continue in next comment)

I too have the camera, color reproduction is pretty good. but you get what you pay for.
