Tim Tufuga does the Mooloolaba Triathlon. I have repaired my own bike with a twick here and twick there with a screw driver and wallah it goes well. A bit of oil and it seems ok. Need a new bike though.

A proper triathlon bike will set me back 8 Gs though!!ouch!!!

Kona 2007 seems within range. Can't afford the Kestral and Kaliber, I'm afraid to say. 12 to 15 Gs for them. Buy them if you want to win the Hawaiian Ironman and a quarter of a million USD price money along with the title of big huncho!!!

I am only in for the age cat. only!! Golden oldies of triathlons for Kiwi Samoans permanently displaced in Australia!!

I did it costed me $195 for a bike service. However, I bought a new wheelset because my entry level wheelset was crap anyway. It is all part of the learning curve. But, thanks for the comment.

Everyone is so quick to talk crap about everyone else on here. I would be pissed and suspicious of everyone if I got repeated flats after training my ass off, spending the time and money to travel to the race, and busting my ass to get through it all while dealing with four flats. Keep training hard and screw all the bastards that try to keep you down.

Glad that you love triathlon but for god's sake take your bike to a bike shop next time you get 4 flats in a row, that was one painful video. And rest assured, no-one is tampering with your equipment. You are certainly 'unique' as you say and I am sure you are making your mother proud. Good luck if you are at noosa.
