Master Tactical Instructor, Shawn Chitwood, demonstrates how to perform an arm drag to achieve a position past or behind a subject. From this position, Shawn demonstrates how to perform the harness takedown to hand-cuffing control.
@Crucible75 Crucible, I don't think there is any need for that. Our program does not have a monopoly on a "move". We appreciate the support but keep in mind that something like the above technique will be found in many programs by good instructors doing their homework. Shawn has his method, details and preferences and we have ours.Props to him for sharing. We are all in the same business of saving lives and making people safer. Let's remember that.
@ISRMATRIX1 - A shame they couldn't get it right though. This is a lesson in how to take a fundamentally sound tactic and f*ck it. This knock off "modified" version has got more holes than swiss cheese....if they are going to rip off some credible instructors they should at least do it right!
Very nice. The armdrag to harness has been a staple of the ISR Matrix for years. Glad to see other people arriving at the same conclusion. Good job, Shawn.
