Because like it or not, imposing religion like that on children in their formative years molds who they become as adults, weather they continue to believe or not. And to answer your question even more, THEY give a fuck what false religion they follow because they both talk about it in their comedy. There is a reason that there is a disproportionate amount of comedians who were raised Catholic or Jewish.

I hear you. A friend of mine said that the philosophers of old used to sprinkle a little humour in with the wisdom they were sharing and that was the birth of comedy. I don't know if that's true but it's a pretty cool theory.
