Excellent, Bayram. Beautiful playing. I just stumbled upon this video. Let's hear much more from this gifted artist!! Bravo. I would love to hear more about your learning of music in Turkey. What are the prime influences on the Turkish school of piano playing? Have you met pianists like Idil Biret?

Oh - and thank you for bringing me back to this performance by Bayram. Such a lovely experience to hear him play!

Scarlatti's music is an absolute jewel, yes!I like your "bi-polar" reference - some say a fugue, for example, is a madman talking to himself! Best wishes....

Articulate and true! This is such a delight! What I love about your playing is that there is no affectation. It all sounds so honest and real. I so enjoy these artistic wonders I find on Youtube - thank you Bayram! Every success to you.....

wo!
I like scarlatti
wonderful phrasing! when it's quiet it's quiet, and when it needs to be powerful, it is, but still sticks to the true baroque style of not being bi-polar! Some pianists tend to interpret this piece in a very "romantic era" fashion . . . extremely quiet, then bursting, up and down, slow then too fast . . . this was perfect, and it was baroque. five stars out of five.
