Yeah man, thanks a lot. I know what I have to eventually do. But it's the hard truth. It sucks but, I know that lately I have been really focusing on me and I'm striving, and if I want my life to go anywhere that "I" want-- I have to just take the consiquance too.

Hey man thanks a lot, I haven't seen you in a while whats up!?!?!

You're welcome, and thanks I don't feel 39 either! Well maybe on those winter mornings when it's -25, but I think everyone feels it on those days!

alright, will do! thanks again bro!
(still can't believe you're 39 btw- thought you were like 25 dude!)

In my understanding of the system, yes you should do it. Since you will have to do it anyway once you hit 26 and are still unregistered. Especially if any of your documentation says male right now. Best to get it done now. You can always call them and clarify. I called and they said I had to do it and I'm 39! You will definitely need it if you intent to ever apply for fafsa, or you apply for a job that asks if you are registered. If you do it now, you won't have to worry about doing it later.

dangit for some reason this hasn't been letting me post any comments or replies here for the past few days x_x
quick question tho- at the top of that form it said it was for 26 yrs and over, i'm only 22 but is this what i'm supposed to fill out anyway since i'm over 18, trans, and unregistered?
Cole, I don't see why you would have a problem with FAFSA. You mentioned you were in the military for some time. If you're a veteran, that should satisfy any Selective Service requirement, even if you didn't register after you got out of the military. Just show them a copy of your DD214 and that should take care of the problem. The whole trans exemption thing becomes unnecessary.

@wcsxwcsx sure that would work, if I was out at school, and my DD214 had my correct name and gender on it. But, since I am not openly trans anywhere at all, nor do I wish to be, I did what the selective service people told me to do. Sometimes, its safer to take the less convienent path, and I am sure there are others in my posiyion, I posted the infomation to help other stealth guys.

@justmmy Thanks! It helps that I'm ADD LOL, plus I seem to run into the most random setbacks so I try to share those with everyone as a heads-up. And, I'm always open to video topics to explore.
