  • Also what do you feed your tangs? Im trying to get them fatter and make sure they are healthy. How long have you had your tangs and what do you feed them and how often

  • @hollabacknow8557 I give them a sheet of sushi algea per day and for about 12 fish i give 2 table spoon of mysis shrimp and 2 table spoon of brine shrimp each day

  • i recently got a yellow tang, scopas tang, and a sailfin tang...i've had them for a week and a half. They were doing fine swimming all over the place. Now the yellow tang is acting different he backs up into a rock and stays there for remainder of the time. He still goes to the side of the glass and peck at the algae sheet i have on the glass. But than he goes right back to the little spot of his. Is that normal? Why did he switch up like that and start staying in that hole constantly.

  • @hollabacknow8557 what about you tank size? tang fish are very territorial did you see the others tangs picking at him? swim and try to hit him with their tails? maybe hes just afraid... mine took about 2 weeks before he swim normaly.

  • @hollabacknow8557 i bought "egg crate" a while ago to put on my tank. google it if you have no idea of what im talking about lol I will fix the moonlight on this. they are from neptune system.

if you have any questions you can send me a private message and i will give you my email, and I will send you some pictures.

  • @hollabacknow8557 sun coral are very hard to keep and im not recommend them to someone, like me don't have any much time to feed them... they really need special attention and need to be feeded by hands at least 2-3 times per weeks. thats a pain when you have fishes in the tank, they all want the coral's foods...

  • @xgalrix you brought 5 moonlight modules? for moon lights were did you get them and how did you place them without a hood?

  • are sun corals hard to keep? do you have to spot feed them, If so how often do you feed them and what do you feed it,

  • I just bought 5 moolight module (aquabus lunar simulator) for my Neptune Apex controler. But since A year and half im only running with those 3 halide lamps with no light source on night. I never noticed something wrong with the coral and tank.

And you right i had a sun coral on the spare tank, but the trigger never touched it :)
