i guess i'm the only one who likes the new version. it doesn't sound like another bathory rip-off band with purposefully crappy audio quality
if respecting the quality of the sound of your music is "selling out", then let's write off Quorthon for selling out, since his last albums (nordland 1 and 2 and destroyer of worlds) were eons better quality-wise than the 1st and 2nd bathory albums

the old version sounds a lot more melodic with more soul and essence where the new version is just money and commercialization that becomes important

I like good quality songs, whith good recorded guitars, but in this case i like old version more.

disagreed... vocals are great on the first one..they sound weaker on the latter.. the first version of the album has a majestic, otherwordly sound to it..the sound on the later album might be clearer, but its that background noise you hear in the early version that gives the song its beauty
