Miata Challenge: Sparring with the TrackDayHookey

Despite driving for this whole year as a fellow rival in Unlimited class for Miata Challenge, I've never ever actually watched him drive or seen him live on the track. This is a good experience to see what Gordon "TrackDayHookey" Jennings can do with that 300whp Rotrex-powered racecar of his.

Why was there so much smoke on the track? So many people were going off track too.

The smoke was from Gordon's car locking up the front brakes, which had some sort of problem at the time.

legendary!!!!!! underpowered by almost 50 hp and still the winner winner chicken dinner. i thought for sure he had you until 7:50. glorious!

Gordon's car was running on Hoosier R6s all day and has about done for the day and he was also taking on a passenger. Plus when I caught him at the end, he was on his cool down lap. That said, still, I had to try very hard to keep up.
