Bill Turner & the Blue Smoke Big Band in concert at the Wildwood Convention Center in Wildwood NJ, playing "Rock Around The Clock". Band members are: Bill Turner-lead guitar; Eric Knutsen-electric bass; Ray Torelli-drums; John Kurdilla-tenor sax; Joe Camusci-pedal steel guitar; Bart Freeman-trumpet; Jeff Gaynor-keyboard; Linda Marie Knutsen-vocals; and Jim Calvert-rhythm guitar. It was at this concert that MTV hired the band to record the soundtrack for the M-2 Satellite Network commercials.

Bill Turner backed me up in NJ and was alot of fun! He was also a friend of my uncle Howard Brady who recorded Hot Rod Boogie in the 50s now being re-discovered in Europe. Miss You Bill and Facebook friend!

I remember going to see this guy Mr.Bill Turner back in the mid 80's performing at Club Bene backing up one of the great Elvis Impersonator named "Jerry El" (whom was & always will be an idol besides a dear friend) & to think that I had the honor & privilege to not ONLY performing to the "the man" the legend Mr. Bill Turner but also I had the chance to record my 1st CD with him & his magical band!!Yes folks"Tim Kross-Lost In Carolina" was born & made possible thanks to this man "Mr.Bill Turner"

I remember going to go see Bill and the blue smoke back in the 80's. One song he had always dedicated to me Pink cadillac and he would say this goes out to Philly Girl. I would do anythiing to see him again.
