John-Michael O'Leary - Love Song (Sara Bareilles)

This is my first video a la MarloweDK. Using my Cubase LE and my PreSonus Firepod (FP10) I dropped the bass out of the original tune and played over it. The camera was the web cam in my Intel MacBook. I sloppily put this together in about 30 minutes... It's not perfect but oh well.

I did a sharp EQ drop in the bass frequencies and added an additional track - me on bass - to the mix. I'll have to go back and see exactly where I did the EQ drop but I think it was around 200... MarloweDK had a short little write up on how he did his - I just copied it.

This reminds me a need to put up more videos...

They're great for basic use. I haven't had any problems with anything but recording large orchestra groups. The preamps just don't push enough for Left and Right condensers. It's to be expected though...

Yeah, I completely bs'ed the bridge... I only spent about 30 minutes on everything just to get the process down. Schools back in session so I haven't had much time to redo this song or add more... Thanks for the comments though!
