thought technology was supposed to help things get out quicker. i purchased my ps3 on the premmiss of this game alone...gt series is just a joke now with these delays: {

@salberts93 hi sal.well look at whats happend! now this fail,,,,err i mean fall.its a joke.with test drive been delayed till next year its at anyones guess will gt5 come out??? i think and a strange notion it may seem is that the yakuza' maybe controlling the purse strings on this thing.

@mattburkey the reason i say sony spin, is what game takes 5 or so years to develop? none that i am aware of. kaz would have had gt5 out of the oven and ready to hit the table ages ago. but i say its orders from sony for a release date. they want all the dough from all the games, rather than gt5 and cod black ops competing against each other. it makes good business sense. just my two cents.

@mattburkey i hear you mate, you are looking at someone that has played gt to death since day one, like gt on the original playstation before it was a ps one! and i have continued to be in awe of the series with every incarnation. what can i say, i have waited 5 years or so for gt5. i am getting impatient. gt5 prologue only just satisfies the cravings for a bit of a quick thrash around a few tracks with some nice rides. i want the main course though. i think its all sony spin imo.

@ozzycarnut You can't rush art. I have the greatest respect for Kaz and his team for the passion and effort they have put into research, development and production of this simulator. As soon as it is released many many clowns will start blowing off over it not being worth all the hype, etc. Just be patient and love it for the artwork it is. If you're not happy, go and play a different game. Anything has got to be better than complaining about people doing a good job and putting effort in.

@salberts93 They were targets... not actually release dates. The content and quality of the game has dramatically increased over this time. I am pleased with Polyphony's attitude. The development time has been phenomenol but look at the standard they're setting. On the PS2 it used to infuriate me have to switch between GT3 and GT4 to play certain courses. Now I would rather buy GT5 and purchase more content for it until the end of the PS3's life and purchase GT6 on PS4. Polyphony have done good.

LOL James May. FYI GT5 Prologue sold more than forza 3 and GT5 will easily exceed prologues sales (maybe not in america)
