Night in Nature at Tällberg Forum

Nature - as a background, a classroom, or a space to retreat and reflect - is central to the Tällberg conversations. During the opening session on Thursday 26 June 2008, all participants were taken in small groups into the forests or by the lakeshore for over an hour of retreat and reflection. Also, two early morning nature walks took place. And in what is becoming a Tällberg Forum tradition, a group spent one night in nature, sleeping under the stars lead by Göran Gennvi and John P Milton.

An amazing glimpse into a historic event held in Sweden. Here, hundreds of world leaders experienced communion with life and all of nature. In summer 2008, John Milton & Goran Gennvi designed a Pathfinder process, a short NatureQuest, for over 500 world leaders. We need more events where world leaders make deep connections with the Earth. This film communicates that. It has also inspired me to go out and try the same connections in my own back yard.
