VERY COOL

youre right about the spinikere down haul so the up haul must be slack as well depends at what angle the pole is to weather which one wants tightening, also i noticed the mast is not raked (i.e the forestay has not been loosened off) forward this will give more depth in the spiniker and produce a better speed and makes it wasier to keep flying.

lol the jib was just lying there you should tye it up if your not useinf ut

Now go sail a Laser--

Nice one lads, I love the video. Its hard to beat the feeling you get on days like that.

tighten the pole downhaul to stabilize the spin pole. Way too loose! Your pole guy is inside the life line and is putting undue stress on it ....it will respond better outside where it will not rub on the lifeline.

get an gennaker them drink a beer it would be alot easier
-
16.5 knot speed over ground maybe, but I doubt your speed through the water was anywhere near that.
-
Good video.

he's getting all the speed from the spinnaker right?
The boat is a FF95 (dutch design i think). The windspeed was 7 bft and the boatspeed was 18 knots.
