  • You can't cut it wet because curlies tend to have different textures of curl throughout their heads, and different parts of their will curl up differently when dry. She's gonna have hills and valleys of weird layers that way >:P

  • im a hair dresser and honestly never started my layers from there:/

  • she's always so agressive. lol. why does it have to be exactly even?... well I can understand if the girl straightens her hair often, I would think that it should be straightened first in that case. I always leave my hair curly so I trim it when it's curly and dry...

  • Her hand seems too aggressive rather than gentle

  • I'm a hairdresser and I honestly say this video is soo wrong and she doesn't even use the right terms.

  • @crazygoofu2 yeah i know what u mean! i never did figure out why we have to have our hair wet at the hair salon before cutting...i find it easier too to cut when dry!!! and yeah i once cut my hair even(oh i have wavy hair by the way) and it looks so bad.....so i def agree with u

  • im so lucky i dont have curly hair

  • Actually have curly hair and over the years Ive had my hair cut wet and dry before and I got to say cutting my hair dry was a lot better than have it cut wet. It's because the stylist can see how the shape of the hair and the type of curl is going to be when dry giving them a better idea of where to cut. Also curl hair doesn't have to be even because if it is it kinda looks bad ... you pretty much get the shape of a pyramid on your head... trust I know!

  • lmao .. i thoght she said .. FLORDA .. when she actually said Florida

  • @diipped the fact that she has curly hair doesn't necessarily mean she UNDERSTANDS how it works. from what i can see, she cuts and handles it pretty much the same way as one would cut straight hair. she's in the majority, though - every stylist does that, they don't have enough knowledge about curly hair.
