Music by Inkubus Sukkubus, photos from google and personal

Lyrics
A rhythm stirs within the earth
That tells all nature of a birth
A return to light, return to life
And lead us from this darkest night
God of the Sun, now have you come
Your reign of light has just begun
Though all must die to be reborn
Return now on a bright new morn
My lord applauds my Pagan ways
And in my heart he'll always stay
Pagan Born!
In winter's cloak we've sheltered long
Waiting for spring's sweet song
Tho' warmth we found beside the hearth
Its glow could not break through the dark
I look toward the fiery sky
And know that your return is nigh
Though I shall fall as the harvest corn
It is my fate, I'm Pagan Born!

  • @draco8014 I love that picture

  • @AndeDerElf Thank you for the information. I thought they where all Pagan but I didn't want to say for sure with out knowing.

  • @draco8014 "Inkubus Sukkubus are a British goth and pagan band who have been releasing albums and touring since their formation as Incubus Succubus in 1989." They associate as pagan. Wicca is a branch off of pagan, so there you go. They're all some form of pagan.

  • @draco8014 Now that you mention it, I can see how you're right. Still, based on the context and titles of their songs (Church of Madness, Wytches, Pagan Born, Burning Times, and Wake of the Christian Knights to name a few), it seems likely that the band members are Pagan, or at least of some group that the church looks down upon. Whatever the case, the band is great.

  • @Reverentpolytheist I don't know about all the band members, but I'm pretty sure the singer, and guitar player are Pagan, but I'm not sure on the Wiccan part. But as you said you don't have to be Wiccan to have religious feelings about the song. As me and you can attest.

  • @draco8014 Thank you. Even people who are not Wiccans, like the band members if I'm not mistaken, can feel a religious feeling listening to this song.

  • @Reverentpolytheist Now that you mention it I'm going to have to agree with you.

  • Sometimes listening to this... it's like having a religious experience.
