Fred Parris is the lead for the Scarlets, but the Five Satins was a whole other group that he was the lead for.

@redd5674 Holy Smoke! A reply to lil' ol' me, I made 2 years ago. No wonder I had forgotten my comment. Thank you very much for this reply. Yes, to know how many during those 10 years and pass the numer by, in right situation, like it it's common knowledge. Drop it among some real doo woop experts and they scratch their heads, check the web etc. LOL But there will always be a guy in that crowd that have the number, being the obvious exception which proves the rule. Of course.

This lead singer doesn't sound like Fred Paris to me. Different lead than In The Still of The Night.

Yeah!! The Red Robin label was owned by Bobby Robinson.Before his label was named "Robin Records" Owners of the other Robin Records, in Tennessee, stopped him from using the name and he changed it to Red Robin in 1952.

you may be correct, but i know fred paris was a member of this group and the five satins. Than again some other youtuber may correct what we say. Fred a member of both though
