It wasn't the K's that were sold to SAR, it was the N's.

A lot of Victorian based rail fans would never know that their K Class locomotives after some were sold to South Australian Railways became the "750" class and were often used on the Santa Specials running around suburban Adelaide during 60s/70s era.
