I have aftermath photo's If you want to see them, and I witnessed the nasty accident, probably the wotst accident I have seen. The car just seemed to start rolling violently due to the weird angle of impact.

Very scary stuff. So important to have a full roll cage on a Caterham especially when racing. Thanks for posting the video, glad to hear you were ok.

thanks for sharing that. There is this (not so) funny angle with caterhams where if you seem to catch it the thing barrel rolls endlessly. See Don Lambs accident at dony (which whilst not trying to compare was a much lesser incident in the making, and a more violent roll)
On the plus side unbelievably tough cars. Glad you got out in one piece...back next year?
Did your hands come out of restraints or not?

No, my hands stayed in restraints but right hand was thrown sideways out of car. Lesson - keep restraints as short as possible. Also my visor was thrown up in crash. Lesson - push it fully down (I'd got it fraction open for air).
Back next year, but son will be driving the rebuilt car. Wife was there and has banned me.

Afraid no more footage from me - I accidentally re-recorded over the aftermath (which showed great job the marshals did). Doh! If anyone has outside video footage, I'd like to see it. Thanks for all comments.
