People say that Anonymous is not a group, but a collective of ideas, its not meant physically. Its up to you how you view it.
The clearwater police (some of em) work for scientology in their free time, and yes they do get paid, shitloads of money if you tell me.

Yeh but Project Chanology didn't start until Feb 2008, and those riot gear cops weren't on their free time, either, they were there because $cientology called the police and went "ZOMG HALP!!11!! DANGEROUS TERRORISTS ARE GATHERING OUTSIDE OUR HOLY, INNOCENT CHURCH! HAAAALP!!!11!!eleven"
