This is the final version of my cloth simulation, developed for my Computer Animation Algorithms & Techniques class winter quarter of 2007-2008 at the Rochester Institute of Technology.It's based on articles by Jeff Lander on Gamasutra.

You need length constraints. It's *way* too stretchy. For most graphical cloth sims, you just want to assume it's inextensible.
