Me playing an awesome song of one of the greatest Thrash Metal bands.

  • part 2: And in my local musicshop, I've heard the KRK VXT8 (I think it were these), those are a totally different price range, but damn .. Those are KILLERS! If I had the money, I'd like to have a set of those. If you have the possibility to try/hear some, you can choose those who suits you the best.

  • @vdjn55 You're welcome, always ready to (at least try to :p ) help other musicians or music addicts to choose their gear. It's a personal choice and people have different taste, but price/quality the M1Actives are a good choice. If you like to spend a little bit more on it, the ALESIS M1 Active MK2 are a really good choice. It's like the bigger/better brother from the M1's I have. Others that are good: YAMAHA HS80M

  • @SappigeAjuin Alrighty :) Thanks for the info! Going to do some more research on them before I buy! Keep up the good work!!

  • @vdjn55 part 2: They don't make your ears tired by listening to them all day, so that's a really positive thing for me. If you want to really mix music on it, I would go for some more expensive monitors. ;) Hope it helps!

  • @vdjn55 Hey, thank you! ^^ I connected my M1's to the Analog Outs from my Line6 Toneport UX1. I really love the speakers. They have a great sound quality and the EQ on the back comes in handy. I bought the Alesis M1A.520 because I have a small room, didn't wanna go overkill. But if you got a big room, and want some punch without using a subwoofer, I'd go for 8" speakers in stead of 5". They lack a bit of bass unless you really crank them and use the EQ in iTunes or w/e program you are using.

  • Awesome playing... did you directly connect the Alesis M1 Active to your computer? I'm curious to know more about it... thinking of purchasing it.
