The 3 Ninja of Gloom

This is a film we made for a course in Digital Video at the University of Gothenburg. It is supposed to be three comedic sketches, but sometimes the comedy may be a bit difficult to spot ;) I've learnt a lot, though, both in terms of what works and what doesn't work. My workflow, for instance, in post turned out to be overly complicated and vastly inflexible when I needed to go back into the editing software to make some changes. I was therefore forced to leave some things as they were, although I really would have liked to get back into the editor and changed the pacing here and there.

The whole film was shot with a DSLR, a Canon Kiss X4. Cutting was done in Adobe Premiere CS3, with colour grading and 'special effects' being carried out in Adobe AfterEffects CS3. Sir Charles's voice was recorded on set using a lapel microphone connected to a MiniDisc recorder. The voices of the Ninja were recorded separately at the University.
