1984 FORD F-350 Dump Box 6.9L IDI V8 diesel 4-speed

Leigh Turnbull got a 1984 Ford F-350 truck for 3 grand not bad, has a International 6.9L 420 Cubic Inch OHV Indirect Injected V8 Diesel engine. To repair the Transmission, Differential, Transfer case, New Gear shift lever cost $3,700 Dollars at a Transmisison place in Aldergrove. would Like to put a; 5.9L Cummins ISB 24-Valve Straight 6 Cylinder Direct injected Diesel engine with a 6-Speed manual Transmission. That would be a sweet diesel swap it would have lots of performance stuff too much to list sorry rate comment.

I would say stick with the IDI instead of swapping in a cummins. I have an IDI and I love it.

If you want a cummins then buy a Dodge with one already in it. If you like this truck then fix what you have and be true to it.

you can buy a whole T19 4 speed off craigslist or ebay for 1/4 that much money he payed for the trans fix.
