Toshiba's Re-Rite (Advanced Scanning)

With its superior HANDS OFF Automated OCR (Optical Character Recognition) engine, Re-Rite has no parallel—having multiple OCR Language support in 17 Languages. OCR is the process of converting documents into a format that can be edited in Word, Excel, Rich Text Format, etc. The scanned documents are then delivered to a shared network folder, an E-mail address, or both. This process is automated by your OCR.

Re-Rite also has two modes of operation: the Default Mode and the Batch Mode. In the Default mode, all files are converted to a single format, and sent to the designated location. In the Batch Mode, the file is scanned into Re-Rite's server. The file is then converted to a predesignated format, and is then sent to the network, e-mail, or both.
