Early saturday morning and uphill run of Nissan Primera GT (150hp) chasing Honda Accord 2.4 7G (190hp, Showa sport chassis). Unfortunately - camera memory gone when still about a minute of drive up to the hill remains.
what i can say as an primera gt owner is that: you can keep up with more powerful honda in corners if you know how you drive your car and in this case keep your revs up where the car haves ts most power and torq. if u sit 2 complete novices in both cars honda would be winner.but primera haves better power/torque/RPM ratio
i've got a primera gt and those figures dont mean anything. mines got barely any mods, just an induction kit and a big bore exhaust and it does 0-60 in under six seconds. tops out about 145. most of the power is above about 4.5 thousand revs so if you keep it in the right gear there aint much that goes quicker
Those numbers doesn't say much about the performance apart from the obvious. The power curve and gear could very well set them apart in an area that would make the primera for example leave the accord behind. Not to say the driver! I am just saying that this is oversimplyfiing it a bit I think. But I also would think the accord would win all being equal.
i know that car can go alot faster and that you couldhave overtaken that 2.4 easily as my brother has the same car and blitzed that car you was chasing and my brother has a gt also standard
my firebird would so totally smoke this rice burner lol

Primera = better at cornering. on this road, those cars will hit the same time on a time run.

Honda accord 2.4 0-60 7.9 sec
Honda accord 2.4 Top Speed 141 MPH
Nissan Primera GT 0-60 8.8 sec
Nissan Primera GT Top Speed 135 MPH
I'm not saying the nissan is bad, its a seriously quick car but there's no way in hell it's gonna keep up with that accord.
