  • OK. Now I am ill. Why in the heck would they remove one bloody part from the movie. Went from Part 7 to Part 9, and when I went looking for "8", it had been removed for copyright? One damn part?! OMG!!

  • They didn't have automatic weapons back in those days!!

  • where is part 8?

  • thanks for the info. its almost magic how these films were made and how it appears on screen.

  • doubt the Spaniards actually wore that armour in Panama.

  • I love these old warner bros flicks. This was largely shot at the Paramount ranch, north of L.A. where the studios shared 450 acres. There´s a creek that was often dammed up, as in this scene.

I was part of a film crew that shot location there on two films. So may films used this place!

Also Santa Catalina island, Captain Blood!

    Thnx for posting this!

  • fantastic those self-loading muskets the dagos had..why were they lead by a German tho I wonder (well apart from the fact that Germans make good officers and dagos aren't exactly renowned for that)
